[R-390] KPH broadcasts

It is interesting when you look at the timeline.........

In 1912,  with the sinking of the Titanic, "bleeding edge" technology, spark
CW, was mandated for all ships at sea. Tube CW followed,  SW and LF
broadcast flourished from the 30's to the 70's. In the 40's, 50's and 60's
SSB HF was used for overseas telephone calls.  Huge HF stations dominated
the East and West coasts.
Satellite, cable, internet has made the medium obsolete. BBC, Germany,
Albania, Moscow, etc. are shadows of their former selves.
Now we are reduced to using very sophisticated MF, HF radios to listen to
"Rush".
This has to be the shortest term (life span) for a major technological
break-through in history.
In 2003 LF, MF and HF is the domain of hobbyists. I wonder what then next 20
years will bring.
