[R-390] eBay advice

Hi Gang,

Just my two cents on this. I haven't seen any mention of using E-bay's
User identification to attempt to contact them via phone or US mail. That
request for
user particulars goes through E-Bay and they also get a copy of you info so
that either
of you can contact the other without e-mail. It is the first thing that I
do if I don't get an
e-mail response in 24 hours from the seller or bidder. When I try the
phone and it's no good
or the address is different, I file an immediate complaint with E-bay and
that's been enough to get
my money or stuff, whichever the case may be. At the same time I file a
complaint with E-bay
letting them know of the trouble and wanting their help or for them to do
something to
get things off center. I've also gone to using Paypal because they will
refund your money if the
auction goes south. They are much more inclined to get involved when it costs
them money.
As the FBI says "follow the money trail."

Thanks!!
