Well Gee,
Time to put on the "THINKING CAP", let's see, a pair of full size 160
meter Rhombic Antennas, with 600 ohm switching networks for directional
control of each, thus giving 360 degree coverage. The 600 ohm feed/
switching system goes to an Antenna Coupling house, where the impedance
is matched perfectly to translate to 50 ohms. Humm, the 50 ohm line is
3 inch Heliax, which is pressurized and runs back to an AMATEUR radio
installation, which just happens to have an "R390" receiver in it, which
MIGHT even work. That of course assumes that the operator actually uses
it for 160 meter reception, and not just as "ENTRY INTO" the "SNOBS ARE
US" club!
What kind of comment is that?

And yes I own 2 R-390A receivers, sadly I use them, as "an unused
receiver
is a useless receiver".
