I agree Ken, it's nice craftsmanship.
But I was a bit put off by him not knowing how to spell Eimac, especially
given that the amplifier is raising the 304TL to high worship status. Maybe
he's a iMac user.

The technical section also had something interesting....

"CAPACITORS: Polypropylene in soybean oil for power supply circuits".

Soybean oil?? This must be the new age potting compound.
When rebuilding the electrolytic power supply caps (mandatory 390A
reference) should we be topping off the cans with soybean oil.?  Or would
this be a too "rice boxy" modification for a classic boatanchor. Would it be
in good taste, or just taste good?
