Thanks for the link. I'm  hoping that I won't need new 7591's when I get the
receiver home tomorrow and on the bench, but that would be against Murphy's
law. It's good to see how many people know about Fisher's and power amp
tubes on this list. The Bogen amp that I have working now is not a home
stereo grade unit, but the audio from my R-390A into it is just great. Audio
from the SP is even better. Listening to broadcast AM thru a big speaker is
very nice and sure beats headphones or digital stereo gear. I can imagine
how much better the boatanchors would sound thru the Fisher if it were
working.
