Actually the good news is that the 7591 has been reintroduced by
ElectroHarmonix (New Sensor) and is available at fairly reasonable prices.
The bottle is a bit larger than the original GT size, more like a 5881. It
does fit into the Fisher receivers and works well.
Ned Carlson (www.triodeelectronics.com) has them at $43.95/matched pair.
Think we can get EH to reintroduce the 26Z5W? <grin>

Does AES actually have any for $45.00? The reason that 7591's cost that
much
is that they are pretty much unobtainable which is much worse than merely
being labelled with audiophool prices.
