Man, this is brilliant.  This guy on eBay takes a couple of current
limiters like you describe and a PTC for fusing, mounts it all in an
electrical box with an outlet, writes some flowery text about it, and
sells it for 30 bucks.  I gotta order some of those from Mouser and get
in on this deal...
