The synthesizer boards (A12, A13, and A17) contain loops that phase-lock to the frequency standard module.
They do not feed back to it, why would they?  It's the reference for them, not the other way around.

I did note the G version main oscillator uses a phase lock loop. Unclear
how that actually works as there was not a feed back to the oscillator. So
I suspect its actually just an auto sense internal/external circuit for the
5 MHz.
