Ray,
Boy thats a tough one. I think the AB and Cs were designed to do their
function at a specific level. That not being particularly great but stable.
The 6 pac is a serious messy challenge. But thats the way it was way back
then. That was in line with the genrad 1164 decade synthesizers of the
period. Though even those did not use chains and motors.
As my B still works as it has for some 30 years I can't complain.
I no longer in the north east ever see 1051s of any type at fleas.
