[R-1051] R-1051 IF alignment - advice?

Rays answer is spot on. What I have run into is the slugs are actually
ready to fall apart due to age. You really don't want to twist them.
Further the IFs are very hardy I would question almost anything else first.
Like the translator synth injection levels to mixers.
Not saying the IF couldn't fail but they tend to fail straight out.
