Yes indeed it can be done this way. Not that I would ever know anyone who
did that for R1051s and Cesium references perhaps.
But I can absolutely understand why someone would pay the $ to get the
right plug.
Some one at least for my HP RBs and CS reference found the correct new
plugs at semi reasonable prices. Not the no way in heck am I doing that
level.
So they have been updated and and when I obtained my R1051 it came with the
correct power plug. Though I have to say the cords getting a bit ratty. I
may need to go back and see what a new plugs going to cost me.
