Push-on connectors can be made from an old 8 pin octal tube socket. Destroy the socket with a dremmel tool and salvage the 8 metal push-ons with the solder tabs. Sometimes these metal connectors can be salvaged easily using a jewlers screwdriver by pushing back the keeper tab on the bottom of the octal socket. Use heat shrink and lamp cord to construct your leads. You can secure the power cord to the back of the case with nylon cableing strap-ons.
