[R-1051] activity

Here is some traffic. I might as well ask. MY r-1051b has a problem with the mode switch. The LSB position does not work most of the time. I usually run the receiver in ISB and turn the volume down on the usb speaker if I want use lsb. The volume control does not completely silence the usb output. there is still slight audio from the usb speaker. If I fiddle with the mode switch and rock it around the lsb position, sometimes I can get it to work. I probed the wires in the switch with a plastic pointer (toy pick-up stick). I cannot find anything definitive. Tuner spray does not help.  Does anyone know which tab finger and wafer might be the culpret? It looks like I could get into deeper trouble messing with that complex switch.
