Hi Jim, I don't have any extender cables, but I can attach some wires to the various points to do some testing. I'll try to do that soon and report back. I had an issue with the AC/DC switch arcing and I bypassed it hoping that would fix the problem, but it didn't. It seems to be a problem with  the inverter side of the supply whereas the bulb circuits are sagging. If it was just the plate supply, you wouldn't see the bulbs dimming.  Thanks for your input!! I'd suggest looking for a high resistance in the power leads somewhere.
Can you measure the AC and various DC voltages to see if a particular
one is sagging?
