[R-1051] 600 Ohm Audio/speaker

There is another route to follow.

Fred Hammond and I discussed the lack of 600 to 8/4 ohm audio 
transformers a number of years ago.  Turns out, Hammond had a design 
they had retired from production.  Fred made a few up; I and several 
others tried them and found the transformer worked wonderfully.   Its 
rated at up to 12 Watts, Response is 30-20,000 cps.

Antique Radio still offers them for $26.20.  If you have or plan to own 
a military or other receiver with 600 ohm audio output, put one of these 
on your Christmas list.
