[R-1051] New R1051 Owner

Thanks Paul.  There is a problem with the radio.  The reason I wanted to clean the plugs is The RF module motor was having trouble turning the turret.  I oiled the motor and put it back together only to find it wouldn't run at all after the oiling.  I figured at 1st oh great some of the oil got on the commutator of the motor.  The motor ohmed out OK so I started looking else where and found the outer skin of the plug on the module was not grounding.  Thats what made me think a good cleaning was in order.  So far all I've verified is the only audio modules SEEM to work.  The radio cannot hear a signal injected at the antenna input.
 
Do you think maybe 90% alcohol would be better????
 
This radio was down on the coast.  I see no corrosion so far but it does look like some condensation occurred on the inside skin of the case.
