Yes. Set the rig to a WWV frequency (2.5, 5, 10, 15, 20 MHz), attach an
antenna that is good on that freq., and tweak the correct gear as above.
10, 15, or 20 MHz probably will be your best bets, but which depends on
your location and the time of day.
What was the problem with the knob/shaft/gear?
