	I think the 1051Bs were beginning to be available back then - I
bought one in need of repair at a flea in 1976 and the guy who sold it
to me told me the Navy had more or less dumped the Bs by that date and
was mostly installing G and Hs to replace them.

	It was difficult to obtain documentation in 1976 - I fixed the
problems with mine by painfully tracing out the circuit of the problem
modules by hand.   But this was before the Internet (though a few folks
had ARPANET access by then) and finding things like manuals was more
hit or miss.
