I got connectors from Fair Radio Sales, used, which were under or about $
10. They told me they were getting hard to find, and that was about 8 years
ago, but it wouldn't hurt to check with them. Connectors show up on eBay
frequently but not advertised as "R-1051 Connectors." You have to
scrutinize the photos and usually wind up with extras unrelated to your need
at present. "AN-" and "MS-" series connectors seem to be the same other
than the former being older spec. and aluminum in color while the latter are
olive drab anodized and make more use of rubber seals.
The "aux" power connector is a relatively common 3 pin and that's what I use
rather than looking for the much harder to find 30-something pin
multi-function connector.
Regarding the 3 KHz offset problem, first place to look would be a slipped
plastic drive chain (the "F" does use the plastic chains, doesn't it?"
