Some years ago I bought a pallet load of these converters - all in order to
get a couple of "keepers" to go with my R-1051s.
Most have been sold on eBay, and a few scrapped for parts. But - I have
four units left that have been staring at me every time I go into the shop.
I had intended to fix them and sell them as the others. But my interest has
gone and this isn't going to happen anytime soon, so they gotta go.
I would rather not auction them because I can't guarantee their condition -
for reasons given below. I thought this list might have the kind of
technically savvy people who would know what to do with them!
I am offering the first two now. First come - first serve. If these sell I
will photograph and offer the second two - but these first ones are the best.
Unit 1 is in good working condition BUT the output driver circuits have
been modified by the USN. I believe the mods were to let the converter be
used with a computer or modem with different requirements than a mechanical
teletype machine. Pix and other info:

The second one has a noisy output - probably a leaky capacitor. It has the
original output drive circuits. Pix and info:

Thanks for the bandwidth!
