[R-1051] advise

Lee -

  Stick with an R-1051.  Early R-1051s were contemporary with the
GRC-106 -  R-1051 variants have seen many improvements over the years,
the GRC-106 has not...

  The ISB capability in the -1051 is very nice for listening to
ShortWave Broadcast -  LSB into the left speaker/headphone & USB into
the right speaker/headphone.

  Another thing...  The GRC-106 has an "AM" mode position, but doggone
if I can hear any difference between the AM & USB mode switch
positions.  Cannot find an "AM" signal path in the schematics, either.
