no problem. just send cards to the outgoing bureau intermixed with your own
outgoing cards (assuming you are an ARRL member). there are 3 combinations
that jump to mind:

stateside station to stateside station - no no
stateside station to dx station (your guy) - no problem
dx station to dx station (your guy) - no problem

I get cards all the time through the bureau for XE1UN and respond through
the bureau.

even if I work as a dx station (as in CY0/N1NK from last november) bureau
cards are ok for confirming those contacts. your own contacts from
stateside with stateside stations fall into category 1 even though you may
and may have operated as a dx station.
