K7QO had a good idea. Post a copy of the detailed schedule so that
folks could print up beforehand. However there will be copies at the
hotel during registration. See
http://www.qrparci.org/FDIM%202005Schedule.htm
Also, competitive entries to the building contests - Homebrew division
and Kit division must be brought to the Kitty Hawk room between 7 and
7:30 on Friday night for judging. Winners will be announced at the
banquet. Awards will be made there. If you are entering the contest
and are not going to the banquet, you will be given your award/prize at
the Radio Show at 9PM on Saturday night.
Folks, pls bring entries for the contest. The Homebrew contest may be
any piece of QRP related equipment/antenna/test gear/keys/accessories.
Now if you don't want to be judged you may simply bring your item for
display at the Radio Show on Saturday. And remember, everyone should
bring Altoid projects for display Saturday night. Let's have several
hundred Altoids projects if we can and be sure to label your projects
for display. Masking tape on bottom is fine and a tent card with your
call and name of project would be nice. We'll have tent cards available
for you to use.
OK, hang on 48 hours to go. Lastly, no table reservations are required
for vendor night and door prizes are still being accepted. :)
