Thanks for the info!  I have a few of the "stick"
antennas that I use when I have the mobile radios
in the car (HR-2600 for 10M, RCI-5054 for 6M, or
TR-9130 for 2M).  I just bought a "stick" antenna
for 20M and 30M, but they sound "dead" compared to
my end-fed half wave wire with quarter-wave radial.
I'm planning to visit the local Bass Pro Shop this
weekend to pick up a Black Widow 20-ft telescoping
pole to use as a support.  Sounds like it's time
for some experimenting, hi!
