[QRP] Usable, accessible portable antenna?

I forgot to mention that when my friend was operating
portable with the B&W window antenna, on several
occasions he was forced to operate from inside the
RV because of inclement weather - it worked fine from
the inside.  

Another antenna he uses is made from two Hamstick
type antennas - using the Hamstick adapter, made into
a dipole for a particular band - can be used vertically
or horizonally.  Vertical polarization is recommended
over horizontal because of the closeness to ground.
If inside, it does require some mounting considerations.
