Hotlist Bulletin - Part III

In Part III of the series we will discuss the importance of keeping
the Chapter Events updated for Chapters who have regular meetings or
other events. Why is this important?

When visiting the QCWA home page https://www.qcwa.org you will note
at the top left side (under all of the regular 'radio buttons') the
following language.

Chapters <https://www.qcwa.org/chapters-by-number.php>By
Numbers <https://www.qcwa.org/chapters_on_the-air.php>Nets
<https://www.qcwa.org/events.php>Events

If you click on to any one of the above links you can easily find an
event that each Chapter has. The listing is by numerical order of
Chapter Number, which makes it really easy to quickly locate a
Chapter Event. Anyone traveling in the area just may be interested in
dropping in on your Chapter meeting.

This is how you can add or update a Chapter Event. After logging into
the Members Only Web page, on the left side menu bar scroll down to
"Officer's Section", then select "Events" (10th button down). Another
page will open below showing all of your Chapter Events listed. Below
this list you will see a 'radio button' "Change the Events" which
will allow any current Chapter Officer to make changes to the Chapter
Event listings.

Only add the city again if it's different than where the chapter is
actually located.

Only add the state again if it's different than where the chapter is
actually located.

Update the year only where the other data for an event doesn't change.

As an Officer of a Chapter, you immediately have administration
privileges to make changes to the listing for any event the Chapter
may have, or any other Chapter administration that requires change.

As always, if you have any questions on how to process this, or any
other changes in your chapter, do not hesitate to contact me. After a
little practice this will all come second nature.
