[QCWA Hotlist] QCWA Chapter 119 June Meeting -- June 19 2015

QCWA Chapter 119 will hold its June meeting at our regular meeting 
place:  Frankie's Place for Ribs, 5200 Fairfield Shopping Center, 
Virginia Beach, VA at 12 Noon on Friday, June 19.  All members and 
anyone visiting our area are welcome to come in and share some good QCWA 
fellowship.

The meeting activities will include a round of personal introductions, 
brief Chapter Officer reports, comments from those visiting the Dayton 
Hamfest, and a short program.  The program: Former QCWA Chapter 119 
President Ron, W8RJL, has been exploring the complexities of the 
venerable 'spud gun' phenomenon and he has constructed his own version 
of same.  While he will not be able to demonstrate the power of his 
machine inside the venue, and as there are no trees in the parking lot, 
we will have to use our imagination as to how effective this device can be.

Everyone is welcome.  If you plan to attend, and if you HAVE a friend, 
then BE a friend and bring him/her along with you.  The ribs are superb, 
but not to be outdone by the quality of the company.  Don't care for 
ribs -- there is a nice supporting menu for those with other choices.
