QCWA Bulletin 2014-034 - QCWA Headquarters Running On Schedule

Since the recent resignations of the Executive Administrator and 
Executive Assistant on November 15, 2014, this news bulletin carries 
a message to our members regarding the status of headquarters.

Background
Since March 26, 2012, the office of the Quarter Century Wireless 
Association (QCWA), became a virtual office, thus replacing the 
bricks and mortar headquarters located in Framingham. MA. Since that 
time, the office of QCWA had been located to the home of then general 
manager Jim LaPorta, N1CC, in Malakoff, TX, and more recently, moved 
to the home of the Ken Simpson, W8EK and his wife Sue Simpson, N8AJU 
in Ocala, FL. Over the past two years QCWA had come accustomed to, 
and fully adjusted to managing headquarters from a virtual office, 
which has served our members flawlessly.

Today
A number of the QCWA Board have now taken on the role of managing all 
of the required office duties as previously carried out at the 
virtual office in Ocala, FL, which closed on November 15, 2014. In 
this regard, I am pleased to report that it is business as usual at 
QCWA headquarters.

I thank each and every member, and non-members reading this bulletin, 
for your continued faith in QCWA with either your new membership or 
your membership renewals.

On behalf of the QCWA Board and your volunteer Team, I want to take 
this moment to wish everyone Season's Greetings, and may you all have 
a safe, healthy and enjoyable holiday.
