[QCWA Hotlist] Officers Checking In to Net

Lets try this a second time............................

Hi all. I am Treasurer of Chapter 149 in Connecticut and most of my members do not check in to our own
weekly net on 75 meters. I have tried to check in to the 20 meter National net myself, but with low power and a dipole,
I am either not heard or “Is there a station trying to check in?”. 
My own chapter officers seldom check into our local net. They do much work for the chapter, so I do not push them to
get on the net. Everyone is a “Volunteer” and I am grateful for those that do check in most weeks. 
Most members have much on their plate besides QCWA. I for one have had many communications with our National Hdqtrs regarding chapter membership and they always give a rapid response. They do much to keep the organization alive and to remark about their
attendance on a net was not necessary. How about all the good they do for the rest of us!
Just my own thoughts on the subject.
