[QCWA Hotlist] Officers checking in

Hi Benny,

I was at the QCWA forum at Dayton and heard your comments on this subject. Although it would be nice if the QCWA leadership checked into the net, I disagree with your analogy to your hours in business vs. the directors' time commitment to our organization. They are not getting paid. I assume your business is your livelihood.

In Chapter 1, our secretary and treasurer rarely check into our weekly 2 meter net, although I have asked them to many times. Again, they are volunteers. The bottom line is that some hams just don't enjoy nets yet they are willing to volunteer many hours to our club.

73, Bob Winston. W2THU
President, Chapter 1 - Cleveland
