Just a friendly reminder - if you want to submit a chapter report for the May eJournal and have not yet done so, Monday, April 1, is the deadline.  Any reports submitted after that date will appear in the June eJournal.  73....K4YAQCWA DirectorChair, Publications and Publications Committee  _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________   If you would like  to submit a chapter report for the May QCWA eJournal, it must be received April  1. Those received after that date will go in the June eJournal.  Please email your chapter report to qcwaeditor at gmail.com with a  copy to k4ya at qcwa.org.  If you include a photo,  use a JPEG file and don’t forget to include a caption for the photo.  In the email subject line, please include your chapter name and  number.   We greatly  appreciate that the vast majority of you have been limiting your chapter reports to 750  words and a maximum of two photos as we have requested.  Unfortunately a few  have been ignoring this.  Compared to the printed journal this provides more  than four times the word count and three times the photo submissions over the  same time period.  Putting the eJournal together is a very time consuming  process.  As our editor first puts the eJournal together, parts of it literally  have to be typed in.  It is not a simple matter of copy and paste.  Before the  eJournal is placed on the website for members to download, proofreaders have  also spent much time looking for errors.  Their corrections are submitted to our  editor who makes the corrections before the eJournal is made available to the  membership.  Very long chapter reports, over 750 words and over two photos,  requires even more time.  This in turn makes it more difficult and time  consuming.  Additionally it delays the availability of the eJournal to the  membership.
