The Antietam Radio Association of Hagerstown MD this year will sponsor 
the Great Hagerstown Hamfest on Saturday Morning, May 4, 2013 at the 
Ag-Expo Center near Antietam Battlefield.

QCWA Chapter 222, the Hiram Percy Maxim Memorial Chapter will man a 
booth and in other exciting news , in the booth next to us, Elecraft 
will be presenting real demonstrations of some of their popular radios 
and QCWA Member, Carl Morris, WN3DUG will provide the ongoing demos.

This is Western Maryland"s only ongoing Hamfest and now in its 22nd 
year.  For those wondering, free cake will be served around 10 am while 
it lasts. (Popular activity the last few years.) VE testing follows the 
hamfest (ARRL Session).

Another interesting feature of this hamfest is outdoor tailgaiting under 
roof malikng this a true all weather hamfest.
