[QCWA Hotlist] Nomination Committee Request for Assistance

Dear QCWA Members:

As you are aware it is time for all of us to prepare to nominate and 
then elect individuals to various Executive and Director positions in 
our organization.  To this end QCWA President Bob Roske N0UF asked me 
to act as Chair of the Nomination Committee with Jeff Beals WA4AW and 
Larry Staples W0AIB as Committee members.

In accordance with the QCWA Constitution the Nomination Committee is 
required to identify and select at least two (2) QCWA Members as 
prospective candidates for each office (President, Vice-President, 
Secretary and Treasurer) and twelve (12) QCWA Members as prospective 
candidates for Director in our 2012 Election.

It would greatly assist your QCWA Nomination Committee if each 
Chapter President would poll his members as soon as possible in a 
search for individuals who are willing and ready to allow their names 
to be put forward as nominees.  It would certainly assist this 
committee if all such names could be forwarded to the Nomination 
Committee no later than the first week of June 2011.  I do apologize 
for the short time frame left however I had to deal with an illness 
and a reoccurrence so was out of commission for a while.

QCWA has established itself over the years as a vibrant organization, 
surviving and growing as it has because of the spirit of volunteerism 
among its members.  I encourage all of you to keep this same spirit 
alive among us.  Any and all of you are capable of stepping up to 
take on a role to keep our QCWA organization moving forward and I 
solicit your strong support accordingly.
