[QCWA Hotlist] QCWA Chapter 119 July Meeting -- 17 July 2009 -- Special Program

QCWA Chapter 119 will hold the July meeting at 12 Noon, Friday July 17 
at Frankie's Place for Ribs, our regular meeting location, 5200 
Fairfield Shopping Center, Virginia Beach, VA 23464.  Frankie's is 
located in the strip mall at the NW corner at the intersection of 
Kempsville and Providence Roads.

A special treat at this event will be what is reported to be an 
extremely interesting and well done video presentation spear-headed by 
QCWA Chapter 1 - Cleveland (OH) -- Amateur Radio:  Wireless Window to 
the World.  The program was produced by the Indian Hills Radio Club and 
QCWA Chapter 1 and has been brought to our attention by our own Rich, 
WA4BUE, who will introduce the program.

This inspirational program should help us all to become more aware of 
the richness of our amateur radio heritage and the absolute necessity 
that we become active in promoting the best new amateur radio operators 
possible.  And who better to do it than the EXEMPLARS who make up the 
QCWA Membership.
