[QCWA Hotlist] Chapter officials Please Note -- 2008 Convention Program Information

Chapter 119 released preliminary information today concerning the 
programs to be presented at the 2008 International Convention.  You 
probably saw this information (which will be repeated below).

Please remind your members that it is difficult to secure commitments 
from busy people too far in advance of an event for which they have been 
asked to volunteer service.  The Convention Planning Group has been 
involved with trying to provide the very best programs that would appeal 
to a wide variety of members.  There is still FOUR MONTHS to go till the 
convention, and as much as the Planning Group is involved with details, 
there are some that just have to wait until the proper time.  A full 
accounting of the programs to be presented will be provided as soon as 
it is practical to do so.

In a sense, we are pleased that there is so much interest in these 
programs.  We hope that interest will turn into registrations, and the 
earlier that happens the more comfortable we will all feel.  Thank you 
for helping us to spread the information and to build interest among 
those for whom you have responsibility.

And PLEASE, if any of your members don't have any information about the 
Annual International Convention at all, please point them to their copy 
of the QCWA Journal(s) and/or the 2008 International Convention web site 
at www.qcwa-ch119.org for more complete information.
