[QCWA Hotlist] Chapter membership, etc

Hello to all - - 
To the best of my knowledge this is the first and only use of the closed reflector which goes to only the BoD and officers and each Chapter secretary of the QCWA. As chair of the Chapter Relations Committee I am attempting to determine just how many of our chapters are carrying as MEMBERS (?) some who are NOT FULL members of QCWA and have NO intention of becoming members, whether or not they are eligible.

We all know the basic requirements for membership according to the Constitution and By-laws and we all know that there is no such provision for "Associate" membership in the QCWA or Chapters. If your Chapter does not already have in their records - say, a spreadsheet which can be sorted by any particular column/columns - that such a document be created which shows in one column the National member number, another column showing the expiration date of the dues paid-up, and a third column showing any Chapter office currently held. - - - It is then - if you sort by paid-up dues status in QCWA you will damn soon see who is eligible for Chapter membership!

Someone doesn't remember his number??   COME ON!!! All of the information is right there on his mailing label - number, dates, home chapter - all that  he needs! - - Not paid up in National?? - - - VERY simple!  Therefore he's not a chapter  member either.
Give  him 30-45 days to bring things up to date. - - - - - Also impress on the "FRIENDS", "GUESTS" or whatever you choose to call them - that they cannot hold any office nor have any voting power in Chapter affairs.

If they are eligible  (25 years, etc) - - Do the math -- $0.055 per day (does not include the stamp but $0.06 per day DOES!
