Hello Jeff,
Hey Jeff, I remember you when you were at HamCation in 2015. This is
where you first joined!
Right now you are one of our younger members in QCWA. And it was
probably me that was wondering if you were in the right place, hi. Of
course that was a 'tongue in cheek' remark!!
Chapter 60 is in Knoxville, TN. It has been inactive for quite some
time. Reason being is probably because no one wanted to step up to take
the lead as Officers of the Chapter.
https://www.qcwa.org/chapter060.htm
I just entered Chapter 60 as your primary Chapter in the database for
you, as well I left Chapter 45 in as your secondary Chapter. Let me know
if this complies with your wishes. What a hint for you to try can get
Chapter 60 going once again, but of course, it will not be as easy with
COVID hanging on. However, many Chapter are now meeting on Zoom, and
they are having a blast!
As of today (after adding you), I show 10 active members who are aligned
with Chapter 60. All you need is 5 full active members to re-active
Chapter 60, along with selecting a President and Secretary/Treasurer, as
a minimum, for Officers. If you decide to take the lead, you could be
the acting President until all Chapter 60 members could get together and
have an election, but I have to warn you, if you start off as the acting
President, you will very likely be in this post for some time, hi.
Let me know if you are interested and I can send you a list of the 10
active members to get things started. Also, if you wish to be the acting
President, I can add you to the Chapter 60 Officer list, (Members Only
Webpage), which will give you full access to the Chapter data, like the
active members and the lost members.
47 & 73,
