Obviously the wife of an early radio amateur.
During the 20's there were 3,000 radio parts manufacturers and
30,000 dealers handling radio equipment. Don't tell me that some
parts didnt fall off the back of a horseless buggy somewhere !
Jerome S Berg's book "On the shortwaves" lists Dublier, Hammarlund,
Coto-Coil,Exide, Burgess, Willard, Westinghouse,Tungar, Cunningham
Murdock, Brandes, Tower, Herald, Dictograph, Bredley-stat, Frost,
Pacent, Federal, Chelsea, Radion, Acme, Formica, Celeron, Bosch,
Grebe, Clapp-Eastham, Magnavox, Atwater Kent, Crosley, Zenith,
Phenix, Paragon, Mu-rad, DeForest, Radiola, Scott, and that is
just page 37. Lots of sources for parts...
