To use the numbers as revised, there are 7000 copies of the journal
printed.
There are perhaps 500 members over seas, That would be a 7%
reduction. (Assuming that ALL of them get a copy of the printed
Journal.)
Threr are approximately 300 people subscribed to the reflector.
Of them, not all of them are running a late model PC capable of
dealing with .pdf files.
As an aside, Joe is runing a Commodore C-128 computer. I don't
believe that's capable of displaying, much less printing a copy
of a .pdf file.
Not all of the members of the QCWA have, or want to, deal wtih
a computer. So do you disenfranchise them by saying "Sorry, the
Journal is available online only now."
Seems if I remember right, the membership dues structure of the
organization is supposed to cover the cost of printing and mailing
the Journal to all of it's members. So if we eliminate that cost, do
we get a reduction in the yearly fees? Do the life members get a
pro-rated reduction on thier cost that was calculated on them
receiving a printed copy for life?
