I find this rather ironic. This is exactly the point I was trying to make.
People didn't suddenly stop getting licensed after 1947. And the FCC
was still granting licenses in 1983. There's at least 35 years of "What
I did for the first 25 years I had a license" that doesn't involve WWII.
I mentioned Korea and Vietnam simply because they were the "other"
big wars fought after WWII. And I know for a fact they had radio
operators as well.
There has to be a few members that are between 40 and 65 years old.
Even QST Acknowledges that things have happened after 1947 with
their "75 years ago" "50 years ago" and "25 years" ago column.
