[QCWA] Election

Dont know about the FCC and its lationships, but can assure the
"compliance rulse" the FCC is supposed to enforce involving
"on the air TV" have died an agonizing death in recent years.
(not referring to cable stuff) but on the air stuff such as
1. Stations just dissappearing for days or even weeks at a time
    (no excuses or comments as to what happened when they resume)
2. Stations that set their "Commercial adds" about 4 times
    the normal audio level of their programmed stuff.
3. This will wake your neighbors up for sure if you dont hit
    the MUTE button quick enuff.
4. A "so what" attitude on part of the FCC.   I called them
    to complain about a chnl32 stn here in Honolulu that had
    been on and off the air for 4 out of 5 weeks.   Chnl 32!!!!
5. Their respose was "we dont have any chnl 32 listed for Honolulu"!!!
    They in turn responded,  You must be getting overlap from
    Chnl 31.   I told them negative we dont have a chnl 31 in
    Honolulu. On cable or on the air.
Use to be all this stuff was enforced all the time by FCC
Now it appears they have sorta drifted off into cable country
Satellite TV and other venues.   The rest of ur who use
antennas (not cable) have lost all remnants of FCC rules.
