[QCWA] QCWA Ch91: putting a fresh face on the chapter's website

Our current website has been been open to the public since the spring  
of 2001, if I recall correctly.  It is now looking long in the tooth,  
and I think it is time to come out with a new model.

In preparation for that, I've moved the present site's directory to a  
new location:

       <http://homepage.mac.com/rrucker/qcwa/chapter91.html>

If you go to the old location, <http://homepage.mac.com/rrucker/ 
chapter91.html>, you will get a new page that says your browser will  
in 5 seconds be re-directed to our existing home page inside the new  
"qcwa/" directory.

Either way, you'll get to the website as it now exists.

What I am now looking for are good ideas on what the new website  
should look like.  I'm playing with a new tool for building websites  
that doesn't rely on my limited proficiency with HTML/CSS, so I can  
probably afford to be more adventurous this time around.

I still plan to use Apple's "homepage.mac.com" facilities to serve  
all our website pages.  Among other things, this means I will still  
take advantage of their nice PhotoAlbum templates.  Whether I  
continue to use their Downloadable Files template, or switch to  
another one, remains to be seen.

What I want from you are suggestions on how to make our website more  
user-friendly, visually-attractive, and useful.
