Same here -- there is a chapter in Terre Haute, Indiana, about 1-1/2
hours away, and I know quite a few of the guys there (since I went
to college in Terre Haute)... but chapter meetings just don't fit
into my schedule (even though I've got a daughter living and going
to college there now).
One of the reasons I joined QCWA as soon as I was eligible was to
support QCWA's role as a sanity check for the amateur service.
All those members with 25+ years aren't just clocks ticking - it's
the experience level in the group that gives it a role in
ham radio.
Or at least those are my thoughts :)
