Yep Norm your right.  I dont think it was strange to have it
named HOTEL st as thats where the first hotels were located,
even prior to Waikiki.    Now thats near the center of China
town.  Real ruff neighborhood for sure.  Drugs all oave the
place and Fruit Vegetable stands by the dozens.  Very cheap
prices, (but as the Geko says) its all stolen from
Waimanalo, and windward areas thats why its cheap.
The farmers on the windward side are screaming l/c about it.
They have big banana farms over there also papaya, and other
stuff.
