Following the call for biographies -- actually auto-biographies --  
from our active members, these members have responded so far:
    Carl Gray, W4ACM
    Chuck Stay, W4HE
    Jim Wilcox, W3WV
    Joe Herrmann, W4LBL
    John Reiser, WQ4L  (includes a JPEG photo file of John)
    Lew Bradley, W4SWP
    Nelson Seese, W4BHD

These are posted on our website.  To get to them, click on:

and find the section near the top entitled:  "Recent Updates to the  
Downloadable Files Folder" and follow the instructions.

The folder to look for first is named "biographies of chapter  
members."  Click on it to open its directory, and then click on the  
"Active Members" folder.

Because this collection contains both auto-biographies and  
biographies written by others, they are all referred to here as  
"biographies."  For example, the folder named "Silent Keys" contains  
biographies on six of our departed members that I wrote sometime in  
the past.

To down load a file, just click on the Download button.  The  
downloaded file will appear on your computer wherever you've told  
your Internet browser to put them.  I've told mine -- via its  
Preferences menu and dialog -- to put downloaded files on my  
computer's desktop so that I can find them easily.

We're encouraging our members to write their own biographies, to  
include a photo if they desire.  So please take a look at the  
examples posted and then get busy and write your own.  When you're  
satisfied, forward it to me for posting on our website.  Please  
include a photo of you, your shack, or both.
