Dear Jay:

Your segment having the amateur radio operators beat the pants off the guys
on the cell phones was very gratifying. Those of us active in "Ham Radio" know
how important ham radio can be in times of emergency. We all remember how
the first lines of communication in New York City on 9/11 were provided by
dedicated and trained amateur radio operators. Here in Silicon Valley, we, too,
have a dedicated group of amateur radio operators who constantly train for the
day we hope never comes when we may have to provide the last hope for radio
communications in a time of dire emergency.

Thank you for providing a plug for ham radio operators. I hope one day soon
you will invite those very experienced hams back on your show to explain to
your viewers what amateur radio is and how valuable a service hams provide.

Thank you,

Frank Weiss K6FCW
