[QCWA] Ref FCC

Speaking of all the pro's and con's of the FCC has anyone noticed
that our Deity (the FCC) as really gone lax in their commercial
enforcements against commercial interests in past decade.
Such things as Commercially licensed TV stations that set the
commercials sound levels about 10 to 20 db above their programming
sound levels.   Another item  FCC licensed TV stations that go off
the air for days, yet continue their feed to the cable and COMSAT
sites, you know little things I guess in the FCC intent.
TV Chnl 32 locally went off the air for 5 days.  I finally called
them on the phone and reminded them that their only reason for
holding a FCC license is for "public service" not to keep the
CABLE people happy.   The next day they were up and running as
though nothing had transpired.
