 With regard to the recent thread concerning the quality of radio amateurs 
and those who use amateur radio as an adjunct etc..

Here is a group of pleasure boaters who have shown themselves to be active 
participants in the amateur radio community for 40 years or so.

They have participated in numerous rescue missions at sea working with the 
Coast Guard and others.  Likewise, many medical emergencies.
