          As one of the proof readers, I thought the notice saying "affix 
first class postage" would mean in the U.S. that a 37 cent stamp was 
required.  The International members will require more than 37 cents so I 
think the first class postage statement may have been the best choice(?) in 
this case.  Probably have received about 100 ballots to date and *bought* 
about 6.  Hopefully that number/percent will not get larger as the 
balloting progresses.  This is the first time on the counting end of 
balloting for me and it is educational!

         The local Postmaster told me when I showed her some examples that 
we are *lucky* it gets through the automated sorting equipment with such 
light weight paper.  She said that the size (too large) disqualifies the 
ballot as a postcard.  So far I have received two in clear plastic bags 
marked "WE CARE" because of damage from the machinery.
