The journal typically runs 55 to 60 pages.

I don't know what software is used to create it. I checked one source on
the web and the software to convert MS Word into PDF is $100.00. The Adobe
package to create PDF's is over $600.00.

Scanning it would be an all day job and doesn't give very good copy, lot of
bleed through from the back of the page.

Yes, but requires more work from someone (maybe several people) to
distribute information that will be available in a matter of weeks if not
days.

Another task that would require someone's time.

More people to break the file into bit sized chunks and a maintain a second
e-mail list for those that need the smaller pieces.
With all the spam filters out there, I'm not sure e-mailing it would work
very well.
I'm not saying it couldn't be done, but I don't have the time to do it.
I've found other webmaster for one of the sites I had and will be dropping
about 1/2 of the work I do for the ARRL Incoming Zero QSL Bureau by the end
of the summer. If I can get rid of two more web sites maybe I can get back
on the air, (don't worry Croft, QCWA isn't one that I'm looking to dump).
